We’re excited to announce that making payments on SWAPD just got easier.
Starting today, SWAPD is rolling out credit card payments, as well as Apple Pay, Google Pay, and even bank wire transfers with no limit cap. That’s right, we’re making the checkout process faster, more secure, and more convenient for everyone.
Trustap: Changing the Way We Trade
This new addition is powered by Trustap, a system designed to simplify and speed up transactions. With Trustap, payments are confirmed automatically, which means no more waiting around for manual approval. The checkout experience will now feel smoother and more streamlined than ever before.
On top of that, Trustap brings an extra layer of security. Both SWAPD staff and Trustap will monitor transactions closely to help solve any issues that pop up along the way.
What You Need to Know
While we’re in the BETA phase, there are a few fees to keep in mind when using Trustap:
- SWAPD Fee: A flat 7% fee applies to all Trustap transactions (this won’t affect crypto or normal bank wire options).
- Trustap Fee: These fees vary based on your payment method and location:
- Credit cards: 2.5% to 4%
- Bank wires: 0.25% to 1%
How to Get Started
Using Trustap is similar to using PayPal—buyers and sellers must set up accounts to get started.
- Buyers: Create a Trustap account to make payments.
- Sellers: Ensure your Trustap account is set up to receive payments directly.

Important Updates
Here are some key things to note:
- During BETA, credit card transactions have a $2,000 limit per transaction.
- Bank wire transfers through Trustap have no limit, making them ideal for larger payments.
- You’ll need a Trustap.com account, and both buyers and sellers must be registered with Trustap to complete transactions.
- Payouts are processed directly by Trustap and will be sent in your local currency.
- For high-volume transactions, additional KYC verification may be required.
